Why women suffer from low sex drive

Low sex drive in women arises due to a psychological or emotional issue. The most common is stress which affects every aspect of our lives.  There are a number of reasons why many women experience low sex drive and can be brought on by many physical problems such as Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and stroke.

Any type of hormonal imbalance also affects sex drive. Women, who are experiencing menopause, are pregnant or postnatal may experience low sex drive, as a result of fluctuating levels of the hormones.

Aging process can cause a drop in libido as testosterone, decline in women with age. Being overweight is another common cause of lessened sexual desire as being overweight contributes to many physical and mental issues. Certain medications can also cause hormonal imbalance and low libido as well.   Blood wont flow properly to the genital if you have poor circulation as this will not only make arousal more difficult, but can hinder your natural lubrication, making intercourse painful and unpleasant.
